Observations:

• Exits clear of obstruction, ladders stored in a safe manner, tools neatly stored, garbage cans were observed to be empty.
• Battery storage rooms well ventilated, plexi-glass shield installed, battery maintenace records observed to be complete.
• Inventory checked on a monthly basis for first-aid kit, eye-wash station within expiry date.
• Arc and shock hazard assessment labels in place on master control center banks.
• Annual inspection records were observed for two overhead cranes.  Pre-operational log books were observed, with use documented.  Training records on hoisting and rigging were observed for two operators.  Cranes were properly labeled (max load rating).  Crane use was restricted by locking each building.
• All observed fire extinguishers were inspected on a monthly basis, as well as annual maintainence.
• Noise assessements in the facility had been conducted.
• Fire eyes and gas detection were observed in building A and B.
• Panic gates appeared operational, with appropriate signage.

• Observed that company has added guarding to unprotected pinch points at gears of compressors.
• Housekeeping was observed to be well maintained, access/egress points were clear, tools and equipment were stored appropriately and trip hazards were minimized.
• Emergency gates were signed and operational
• signage was in place on fencing on all sides of the property and included owning company and contact information.
• Fire extinguishers were observed to have current inspection status where checked.
• Overhead cranes were inspected annually, use-logs were maintained and had restricted access.
• Eye wash station was identified with signage
