Observation 1 - Damage Prevention RoW inspection to ensure compliance in the urban areas of Kamloops BC.

-During the opening meeting we observed Trans Mountain Aerial Surveillance program, Public Awareness program, Crossing Agreements/Technical Guidelines and Trans Mountain's Ticket Management Process

-Observed several RoW locations through out the urban area of Kamloops.

-Signage was located at the appropriate locations and had the required information which indicated the company name, warning, type of commodity and emergency number and is in compliance with CSA Z662 10.5.3.3

-RoW was clear and free from brush as per CSA Z662-15 10.6.2

-Observered road crossings and signs were appropriately located on both sides of the road as per CSA Z662-15 10.5.3.4

-Observered water crossings and signs were appropriately located as per CSA Z662-15 10.5.3.7 

--NEB inspector phoned Trans Mountain Emergency Control Center phone number to verify it was answered.

-Signage was located at the appropriate locations and had the required information which indicated the company name, warning, type of commodity and emergency number and is in compliance with CSA Z662 10.5.3.3
